Good access!
The transportation network of trains and buses is well-developed, so getting around is easy. The bus to Shosenkyo is right in front of the tourist information center at the south exit of Kofu Station, so it's very convenient.
No traffic jams!
Sightseeing in Yamanashi from Tokyo is often accompanied by traffic jams on the expressways. The traffic jams are particularly heavy during the autumn leaves season, and it can be as late as 10 or 11 p.m. by the time you arrive in Tokyo. The train will arrive on time.
You can also enjoy alcohol!
While people who came by car are stuck in traffic, you'll be raising a toast downtown! There are over 100 bars that serve the famous hoto and tori offal stew, as well as horse sashimi and yakitori.
